Since we started in 2017, Shine On in Schools visited 14 public schools in the Bronx, reaching more than 1,300 low-income children between 2nd and 8th grade.

These are the results of our student survey during 2017-18 academic year:

87% of students expressed feeling better or much better after our workshop
84% of students expressed feeling more proud of themselves after our workshop
72% of students claimed feeling more able to express themselves after our workshop
69% of students expressed they discovered something new about their feelings, emotions or thoughts.
64% of students express they understand better and feel closer to their classmates after the workshop.
84% of students want Shine on in Schools back in their school!
